Dear Portside Shutters,

I am extremely happy with my new shutters and have received many compliments already. They fit perfectly even though my windows are 122 years old and not square - custom made was definitely worth the money.

My house 'looks a million dollars', and I feel like I'm living in a Parisian Boulevarde! I recommend Portside Shutters highly for their beautiful Australian product and excellent service.

Dear Portside Shutters,

Just a short note to say thank you for our white timber plantation shutters, we are really happy with them.

During the 11 months of our house-build, everything seemed to get delayed by weeks or even months. However you managed to make and fix our shutters ahead of schedule. We were delighted to see them finished on the day that we moved into the house.

(7th March) They really seem to "make" the house. Friends and passers-by have also commented on the shutters.

We are absolutely thrilled with the job your company did in installing our shutters at Wallace Avenue in May this year, they look amazing and the workmanship, fit, and appearance are absolutely first class.

Also, we never did mention the shutters you installed for us in our cottage in Mandeville Lane a couple of years ago, they were quite difficult seeing it was such an old house, but the job there was perfect as well and nothing was too much trouble for your tradesmen.

In today's world of rip offs and shoddy work, it is truly refreshing to do business with a company whose standard and ethics are of the highest order, and please do not hesitate to use us as a reference as we could not be happier.

The shutters are great. I was very impressed with the whole experience.

As you know we sought for quotes from other providers as well ... the pricing were comparable ... you guys were $50 - $100 more expensive. However, the service and detail that you guys provided ?C especially the care that your husband took to measure our windows was what help me decided to go with you.

The shutter installer was fantastic as well, very courteous and wore different shoes inside the house as not to scratch our floor boards.

Thank you and I have referred a friend on to you as well.

I contacted Portside Shutters after moving into a new flat that required window treatments throughout. Both Linton and Indira were friendly and helpful from the get go. They provide a wide variety of products and price points to suit all budgets. Portside offers a free measure and quote service and all appointments (including appointments to check window measurements) are attended to punctually. In my case, a couple of my windows posed issues that challenged Linton and his team to deliver beautiful and creative solutions. My blinds and shutters were fitted by installers that are skilled, friendly and professional. The quality of my window treatments and the standard of craftsmanship surpassed my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I live in a historic property in East Melbourne with original windows and fittings.

Given the age of the property it was important to retain the original features of the windows. This proved to be problematic for a number of shutter suppliers as they all preferred to put frames around the windows rather than set the shutters into the windows.

In my opinion, frames detract from the simplicity of the shutters. With the guidance of Linton, I selected Australian made cedar shutters painted in a natural white hue. Linton also assisted me in determining the size of the shutter blade as he carefully considered the dimensions of the interior and exterior view of the windows. The windows look elegant particularly given the shutters were installed without hinges but sit on minimalist pivot hinges.

Indira and Linton addressed all my requirements with the utmost care and professionalism. It was evident to me that their focus is to ensure their customers are provided with all the information necessary to make appropriate decisions and choices in relation to the shutters. Indeed Linton made a number of reviews of the project and visits to my home to ensure that all facets of the engagement were addressed. Near enough is not good enough for him. His customer service is exemplary and I would not hesitate to recommend the products at Portside Shutters to clients who are interested in quality and the highest standard of workmanship. I am just so grateful to both Indira and Linton for the significant and considerable care they have taken with my home. I would rate their service and products a 5/5.

I moved into my house and needed a set of roller blinds and plantation shutters. After researching three different companies I decided to go with Portside in High Street Prahran. Linton, the company representative, provided the best advice.

Linton has just been around making the final adjustment to our front door lock. This brings to a conclusion what has been for us a very happy association with Portside Shutters & Blinds.

From the moment we first sought a quote for plantation shutters through to today we have found you and your staff to be most professional in your work and very pleasant to deal with.
